The Christmas Candidate
As you may or may not know, I am a fanatic about Hallmark Christmas Movies. I LOVE THEM.
When I found out Summerfest's theme this year is Jingle in July something clicked – let's make a movie for the campaign, for Ankeny, and to fulfill a lifelong dream of starring in a Hallmark Christmas Movie.
The Christmas Candidate is a short Hallmark-style holiday film set right here in Ankeny. It tells the story of a community that cares deeply about its future, and one woman who decides to do something about it. It is also a fundraiser for my campaign.
