Thank you for visiting. My name is Christopher Runberg, and I’m the current sitting 7th Ward City Commissioner in Bay City, Michigan. I’m also the seventh generation of my family to call Bay City “home” (raising the eighth). And more importantly, I’m running this November to earn your trust and support in staying in this seat until our mission is accomplished.
While we’ve secured funding for an overnight drop-in center protecting those facing housing insecurity, kept Flock’s ALPRs from mass surveillance of our community, directed a historic $5m to neighborhood streets, or simply addressed local concerns on your behalf, be it a flooded road or concerning sidewalk, there’s still much work to be done.
Please help our campaign by chipping in today. Every dollar helps put literature in volunteers’ hands to inform neighbors of our mission, a yard sign in the grass, voicing support for progress, and otherwise maintains the infrastructure needed to ensure the 7th Ward seat doesn’t fall to my opponent whose values and direction will leave our most vulnerable neighbors behind while further padding Uptown at our expense.
