Hi. I am Carrie Murthy, and I am asking for your support to serve on the Albany County School District 1 Board of Trustees.
As a School Board Trustee, I will bring civility, compassion, and a willingness to listen and engage in difficult conversations. Our kids and community deserve a School Board that can build bridges and work together to move ACSD1 schools forward. I am an effective collaborator with proven success in mitigating conflicts and working with diverse personalities, and I am eager to get to work for our kids.
I will bring a parent’s perspective that is also deeply grounded in 16 years of professional experience in education research and support. I am eager to apply my education background to ensure every child in Albany County has access to a high-quality education in a safe learning environment.
