It's International Women's Day. This time last year, I had just introduced legislation that recognized reproductive rights as human rights. This legislation was a response to the Trump administration's decision to remove the passages on reproductive freedom national reports on human rights practices.
Despite the support, the legislation is still waiting for its turn on the House floor. In the wake of the Supreme Court's first case on reproductive freedom with a new, conservative court — further codifying reproductive freedom has never been more important.
This International Women's Day, consider making a contribution to the organizations at the frontlines of the fight for reproductive rights.
