In her four years in the NC House, Ashton founded the bi-partisan, bi-cameral Early Childhood Caucus, Co-Chaired the COVID Education Working Group, passed the Dignity for Women Who Are Incarcerated Bill, impacted education policy, and secured millions of dollars for funding to our county such as the GTCC Aviation Facility, NC A&T Doctoral Funding, the Greensboro Science Center.
