Help Us Reelect Dr. Clifford Thompson to the Oakland School Board 2024

I have been honored to serve you as the Oakland District 7 School Board representative since 2024. I am running for re-election and I need your support.

Growing up, I had to fight racism to open the doors of opportunity. I found my passion in the classroom and for more than 30 years I have been committed to ensuring all students have access to a high quality education that will open the doors to their future. As a K12 teacher and administrator, I have championed early literacy and college access; I am the only candidate with proven impact and results.

As a policy maker, I am proud we have made progress with our fiscal and academic sustainability in Oakland, but we must do better. I recently spear-headed the Resolution to Advance Black and Brown Student Achievement, calling on us to double math and reading proficiency and to raise college eligibility from 50% to 80% for Black and Brown students.
