The Climate Equity Action Fund is building a powerful climate movement to drive the political will needed to accelerate a clean energy transition and ensure an equitable future. We work hand in hand with over 90 community-based grantee partners across 14 target states to secure and sustain climate and clean energy policy wins.
Building on nearly a decade of trust with leading independent advocacy organizations in each state, we deploy strategic grants and technical assistance to build a broad, diverse support base that delivers results. The Action Fund supports the leadership of Black, Indigenous, Latino, Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI), and frontline communities that have long been excluded from climate funding, but are essential to winning landmark policies.
By investing now in strategies that strengthen these communities’ power and capacity, we can accelerate the transition away from fossil fuels, expand equitable clean energy solutions nationwide, and contribute to the momentum toward a future that phases out coal, sharply reduces methane gas use, and rapidly increases clean energy generation.
