House Climate Hawks 2024
We’re working hard, with our Calls for Climate program, to flip the House with climate hawks. Our candidates know that climate science is less weird than JD Vance. Our candidates know that Hurricane Helene was supercharged by the burning of fossil fuels. Our candidates will help to hold polluters accountable for the damage they’re causing.
Our climate hawk candidates:
- Kirsten Engel leads the climate law program at the University of Arizona
- Dave Min stands up against California offshore oil drilling
- Monica Tranel fights against Montana’s corporate coal-fired utility monopoly
- Christina Bohannan fights for Iowa family farmers – not factory farms
- Sue Altman fights against corruption, Democrat or Republican, in the New Jersey machine
- Josh Riley stands up for all the small towns in America, including upstate New York, left behind by greedy corporate offshorers
We’re now just over a month out before an election that feels like the most important election of our lifetimes. Democrats have a better chance of flipping the House than holding the Senate. And with at least one chamber in Democratic hands, we can fight for preserving and strengthening the Inflation Reduction Act.
