Climate Hawks for Daniel Biss
Daniel Biss is the mayor of Evanston, a former state legislator and a climate nerd.
In the state legislature, Dan authored climate bills to tighten oil and gas regulation. And as mayor he fought for a Healthy Buildings. He has a detailed list of climate policies he would pursue in Congress.
In a crowded primary field of 15 candidates Biss stands out. He understands policy, and his endorsements include climate hawks like Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Rep. Sean Casten (IL-06), and the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC along with the AFL-CIO of Illinois. Equally important, the majority of climate hawks we surveyed in the district support Daniel Biss.
