Christina Bohannan is a law professor and former representative in the Iowa state legislature running in Iowa's first district against Marianette Miller-Meeks, who she lost to in 2024 by less than 800 votes.
Bohannan has a strong background in environmental protection, having served as an engineer in a state department of environmental protection. She wants to fight for clean water and Iowa’s family farms, and against Big Oil.
And since 2024 Miller Meeks voted to kill Iowa's wind energy industry; Climate Hawks Vote crowd-funded billboards to hold Miller-Meeks accountable; And Miller Meeks has backed Trump's trade wars and actual wars that are driving up the cost of gasoline, diesel, and everything else.
