Climate Hawks for Abdul El-Sayed

Abdul won a very spirited primary last month by running as an outspoken progressive. He’s for Medicare For All, a Green New Deal, and an end to corrupt business-as-usual politics. He planned to be a doctor, but upon realizing how the American healthcare system is broken, entered politics to heal the system. Now he’s on the verge of being a United States Senator – if he can get past centrist fears and MAGA millions.


Michigan’s Senate seat is open following the retirement of Gary Peters. Michigan is a 50-50 pure swing state, and its Senate race is considered a tossup by the nonpartisan Cook Political Report. 


Reminder on the Senate math: In the 53R-47D Senate, Democrats need to flip at least four seats in order to flip the chamber and stop Trump’s agenda. Abdul El-Sayed is the candidate who can win this seat, and then be an outspoken Green New Deal champion.
