Climate Hawks for Josh Turek

Josh has a unique biography: born with spinal bifida, he’s been in a wheelchair most of his life. But he never let that hold him back. As a multiple medal winning basketball paralympian, he’s a winner on the court. And he’s a state legislator who first won election (by six votes!) and was reelected in a Trump district. He’s been standing up on critical Iowa issues like water quality. And he’ll champion Iowa’s wind industry.

Two gold medals. Two victories in deep-red Trump country. And now he’s fighting to flip Iowa’s open Senate seat for the first time in more than a decade.

Democrats need to flip at least four seats in order to control the chamber and stop Trump’s agenda. Climate Hawks Vote is endorsing seven candidates in toss-up and lean Republican seats, including Josh.
