He's fought a fracked gas pipeline – and won. He rallied community members against a business emitting deadly pollution – and won. He stood up for gun rights til he got expelled from the legislature – and then returned victoriuos.
When then the Supreme Court issued its Callais decision, gutting the Voting Rights Act, Tennessee’s state legislators immediately took a chainsaw to Justin's District, changing a compact district covering three counties to a rambling district covering parts of 15 counties. Justin has done the math showing how he wins in this newly redrawn district
Officially, we’re endorsing Justin in his primary next week, August 6. But this endorsement is really a preview of our November general election strategy. We’ll prioritize candidates who stand for environmental justice and voting rights – and that’s Justin Pearson.
