Climate Hawks for Levin
Only a handful of Democrats in Congress have signed on to all ten of the core bills defining a Green New Deal. Only one, Andy Levin, is in a competitive primary facing another incumbent Democrat.
Andy is one of the climate movement’s unsung heroes. He authored the EV Freedom bill to fund 500,000 electric vehicle chargers. He’s an original cosponsor of the Green New Deal, and has signed on as a cosponsor of 10 (out of 10) Green New Deal-themed bills. Congressman Levin signed the No Fossil Fuel Money pledge. And in a political environment where climate hawks share political power with union folk, he is a longtime labor organizer who knows how to center working family voices.
