Climate Hawks for Peggy Flanagan
Peggy Flanagan’s Ojibwe voice means “Speaks with a loud and clear voice woman.” And she’s used that voice for stronger climate action.
Peggy was an outspoken advocate against Line 3. Her primary opponent avoided taking a position. Peggy spoke out loudly, clearly, and forcefully against Minnesota’s biggest fossil fuel infrastructure project when it mattered. She's also spoken out against ICE and Trump's lawless aggression against our cities and neighbors - her opponent praised ICE and was the only Democrat from Minnesota to vote yes on Trump's bill to deport undocumented immigrants – even children – for merely being suspected of a crime.
Even though the primary is not until August, the Minnesota state party is holding its convention February 3, 2026. We’re issuing this endorsement early because we want to show the party – and climate voters nationwide – that Peggy’s loud and clear voice is the best choice.
