Climate Hawks for Wisconsin sanity
Republicans running the Wisconsin state legislature are threatening to impeach Judge Janet Protasiewicz before she’s heard a single case.
They’re trying to impeach Judge Janet because (a) she won (b) she’s a Democrat (c) she has a pulse and a brain and can see that gerrymandered maps are unfair. No reason beyond that. Just like House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is opening an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden for (a) winning in 2020 (b) being a Democrat and c) he has a pulse and a brain and can read science reports so he’s moving forward on climate with big bold laws like the Inflation Reduction Act.
