Climate Voters for Brooke Pinto
The Sierra Club endorses Ward 2 Councilmember Brooke Pinto for reelection.
Brooke Pinto is a consistent vote for environmental priorities on the DC Council. Shortly after taking office in 2020, Councilmember Pinto was the deciding vote against an unqualified nominee to serve on DC’s utility regulatory commission. She then went to work on legislation requiring that DC’s utility regulators have backgrounds in clean energy and consumer protection. She also continues to support implementation of energy efficiency improvements in large commercial buildings in the District.
As a fair elections candidate, Brooke Pinto is not accepting corporate contributions, and contributions from individuals are limited to a maximum of $50.
Contributions from DC residents will be matched 5-1.
