Sierra Club endorses At-Large Councilmember Robert White for reelection.
Councilmember White, who chairs the DC Council Housing Committee, has been a steadfast ally in transitioning DC’s buildings off fossil fuels.
Councilmember White is a key ally we know we can count on to begin transitioning DC government buildings off fossil fuels and to ensure that affordable housing in DC is not saddled with the multi-billion dollar costs of remaining on the gas utility’s expensive and outdated pipeline system.
As a fair elections candidate, Robert White is not accepting corporate contributions, and contributions from individuals are limited to a maximum of $100.
Contributions from DC residents will be matched 5-1.

- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am either a District of Columbia resident individual making a small-dollar contribution or a non-District of Columbia resident individual.
- I certify and affirm that this contribution is being made in my name and from my own funds.
- I am making this contribution voluntarily and I have not received anything of value in return for this contribution.
- I understand that making a false statement is a violation of the law.
- I hereby affirm that I was not, nor, to my knowledge, was anyone else, reimbursed in any manner for this contribution; that this contribution is not being made as a loan; and that this contribution is being made from my personal funds or my personal account, which has no corporate or business affiliation.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
