Council for a Livable World

Contribute to Council for a Livable World and Gil Cisneros' campaign

Council for a Livable World endorsed Rep. Cisneros in 2018 after he survived a 17-candidate primary to become the Democratic nominee and won the general election against Young Kim (R) – 51.6% to 48.8%. Young Kim is running again in 2020 in a district that is 34% Latino and 29% Asian.

Before Congress, Cisneros served in the Navy for 10 years, reaching the rank of Lt. Commander.

He serves on the House Armed Services and House Veterans’ Affairs committees, and has voted against the low-yield nuclear weapon in the House Armed Services Committee and the House floor.

His continued voice on the Armed Services Committee is critical to our work and we are proud to endorse him in 2020.

Please consider splitting a donation between Council for a Livable World and Gil Cisneros! We have never needed your voice and advocacy more. And remember: your first $5 annually to CLW maintains your membership. Thank you for your support!
