Council for a Livable World

Donate to Mike Levin's campaign and Council for a Livable World

Mike Levin was first elected to Congress from Orange County in 2018, winning 54-46% to take a seat that had been a conservative stronghold in California for close to a century. CLW was proud to endorse him in that race as well in his 2020 reelection.

Congressman Levin has established himself as a leader on climate action and clean energy, serving on the House Natural Resources Committee and the Select Committee on the Climate Crisis. He introduced legislation to transition the nation to zero-emission vehicles, expand renewable energy development, and prevent future offshore oil drilling.

He knows that our national security involves much more than just possessing more nuclear weapons, and he has voted to pause the new and outrageously expensive ICBM replacement missile until Congress can get the full picture on alternatives and the future of U.S. nuclear posture.

Before Congress, Levin worked as an attorney focused on environmental and energy regulatory compliance and government affairs.

California’s 2022 redistricting plan has created a much more competitive district, making this race a key battleground for progressives and our hopes of world made safer from the threats of a new global nuclear arms race.

We need to keep Mike Levin in the House of Representatives.
