Control of the House is already very close. Democrats hold a 9-seat majority.

The following six House races feature CLW endorsees that could use your support to ensure they are elected.

  • Rep. Bill Foster (D-IL-11): Likely Democratic. A leading scientific voice in Congress on nuclear security and non-proliferation. Lost 55% of his current constituents in redistricting.
  • Rep. Teresa Leger Fernandez (D-NM-03): Likely Democratic. Has been a major advocate in Congress fighting for compensation for those affected by U.S. weapons production and testing. Redistricting has made this seat more competitive.
  • Jay Chen (D-CA-45): Lean Republican. This Navy reserve officer will bring a new voice and credible national security background to Congress. Progressives only secured 43% in the all-party primary, and conservatives are spending a lot to hold this district.
  • Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA-47): Lean Democratic. She has gained prominence for her tough questioning and bold oversight of the nuclear weapons complex and for advocating for those harmed by U.S. nuclear weapons testing. This new district contains 75% new constituents.
  • Christy Smith (D-CA-27): Toss Up. This pragmatic progressive and climate leader lost the election against the same opponent in 2020 by only 333 votes. Redistricting has made this seat more favorable to progressives.
  • Rep. Susan Wild (D-PA-07): Toss Up. Wild has advocated for diplomatic solutions to the world's biggest problems. She is a top conservative target against the same opponent as she beat in 2020 by only 4%.

The Senate is currently tied with Vice President Kamala Harris acting as the tiebreaker. There are 21 Republican held seats and 14 Democrat held seats being contested in this election. Democrats have a chance to build their Senate Majority by sending the following CLW endorsees to the Senate.

  • John Fetterman (D-PA): Toss Up. Fetterman is ahead but polls are tightening. Fetterman will champion diplomacy and climate action.
  • Cheri Beasley (D-NC): Toss Up. Beasley has already been elected statewide twice. In 2020, she lost a race in which 5.4 million votes were cast by only 401 votes.
  • Mandela Barnes (D-WI): Toss Up. Barnes will advocate for diplomacy and decreased Pentagon spending. He holds a modest polling lead against Trump acolyte and two-term incumbent Sen. Ron Johnson.
  • Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH): Toss Up. Ryan has a strong record on Council issues. He's running for this open seat in the model of Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) who appeals to blue-collar workers and has won three statewide elections since 2006.
  • Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH): Lean Democratic. Hassan has been an advocate for diplomacy and arms control. In 2016, Hassan won by only 1,017 votes and she does not take this seat for granted.
  • Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO): Lean Democratic. Bennet has been a champion for reasonable spending and diplomatic measures. Colorado swings right in non-presidential elections, and Bennet is not taking any chances.
