Coalition PAC

We're in college — and fighting for a future we can afford.

I’m Cedrick Abat, a student at UC Santa Cruz and the President of Coalition at UCSC.

I joined Coalition because I kept hearing adults talk about “the future” — but no one was doing anything to fix the now.

My friends and I saw our parents struggle to pay bills. We see how hard it is just to afford rent or find a decent job. And we got tired of waiting.

So we started organizing. Coalition PAC is run entirely by students like me — we don’t get paid, we just care a lot. We knock doors, help candidates who actually fight for working families, and run campaigns from our dorms, bedrooms, and school libraries.

That’s why I’m proud to share: in just the past month, we’ve expanded to every UC campus in California — and by 2026, we’ll be on every CSU and 50% of community colleges like mine. Now, imagine what we can do in a year.

But we can’t do it alone. One Starbucks coffee, or two gallons of gas per month — that’s all it takes.

A small recurring donation helps students like me stay in this fight.

It helps us keep pushing for a future where people can actually live — not just survive.

If you believe in young people leading, please chip in today. We’ll make you proud.
