I’ve dedicated my career and volunteer work as a community activist to advocating for the hard-working families in Wilmington and across the country. I know what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck and while fighting to put food on the table. Throughout my life I’ve seen first hand what struggle and poverty means for me, my neighbors and our communities.
Now, more than ever, we need a bold and forward-thinking leader who is willing to fight for strong tenants’ rights, protections for our elderly residents, and increase access to affordable housing. As well as bringing a holistic approach to end the gun violence, demand paid family leave for our workers and prioritize people over corporations.
It’s time for the people of the 1st district to have a councilman that upholds the basics of human values and focus on doing the people’s work.
I'm asking you to join me in this fight because it matters and I can't do it without you!
