We're expanding the political imaginary of what's possible in the food system and beyond! Join us!
In 2020, we're launching our new multi-prong strategy to build a regenerative and cooperative food economy. Join us in building power...
Economic power: Our flagship programs, Build, Unlearn, Decolonize (BUD) and Racial Justice Fellowship, continue to support young people of color to build co-ops and community-controlled food systems as economic alternatives to an extractive food system. To complement this work, we are launching CROP Fund, a new regranting program for Black, Indigenous, PoC (people of color)-owned co-ops in the food system.
Political power: Through MyceliYUM, a new national network of cooperators of color advancing food and land justice, young people can organize to shift policy. MyceliYUM members also benefit from CoFED’s membership in the HEAL Food Alliance (HEAL), Wallace Center’s Food Systems Leadership Network, and New Economy Coalition.
We need your support to make a cooperative food system a reality! Thank you!
