Cole is a steadfast advocate for Austin Community College, his alma mater.
As a former pell-grant recipient, dyslexic learner, and champion for increasing access to polling places and civic engagement on college campuses — Cole has dedicated his life to making postsecondary education more accessible, more affordable, and more attainable for every student.
He has worked as a college-access counselor supporting at-risk youth at Boys Hope Girls Hope, he’s fought for college affordability and student access to healthcare at the Texas State Legislature with Young Invincibles, and after getting a Masters in Education at Harvard – published renowned academic research on workforce access for post-secondary students.
Cole's entire career has been focused on student success, campus civic engagement, and equitable policymaking. While working at the Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life, Cole worked on 35+ college campuses across TX to ensure student-accessible polling locations, voter guides, & civic engagement opportunities.
Cole is committed to empowering & strengthening our community & our students. But he can’t do it alone. If you believe that every Texan deserves a second chance and every student should have the support they need to thrive, please consider donating to our campaign today.
