Proven Leadership. Real Results.
A Stronger Chesterton.
I didn't run for office to play politics. I ran to get things done. And that's exactly what I've done.
When I first ran for Chesterton Town Council, I promised to be a voice for our residents, to lead with integrity, and to put people before politics. Nearly three years later, I'm proud to stand on a record of real accomplishments, meaningful progress, and promises kept.
During my time on the Council, I've introduced and successfully passed Chesterton's Responsible Bidder and Incentives Ordinance, protecting skilled workers and ensuring taxpayer-funded projects are completed by qualified, responsible contractors, including prohects who receive any kind of support such as abatements, or TIF loans. I've supported and overseen the completion of our newly renovated Town Hall and expanded Fire Department, providing improved facilities for our first responders and a more accessible, modern space for residents to engage with local government. I've championed the creation of our Sustainability Commission, supported improvements to our parks and public spaces, and helped bring the Telephone to Heaven to Coffee Creek Park, offering families a special place to remember and connect with loved ones they've lost.
When devastating storms struck our community in August 2026, I worked to coordinate resources, advocate for assistance, and help residents navigate recovery. I did my best to ensure information was being given as soon as I had it. I also helped secure a $20,000 grant through NIPSCO to assist residents with hazardous tree and limb removal, providing direct financial assistance to homeowners in need. I've continued working to bring additional improvements to Chesterton, including securing support for new bicycle racks equipped with tire inflation and phone charging stations, a dedicated bike lane that connects the Duneland Prairie Trail to Chesterton's Downtown and advancing plans for an Arts and Cultural Trail, beginning with wider sidewalks along Calumet Road to create new opportunities for outdoor dining, retail, and a more vibrant downtown.
I've also stood firmly for transparency, accountability, and responsible government, including leading the push to end Chesterton's Flock camera contract following serious concerns about misuse and privacy. And I'm especially proud that every ordinance and resolution I've brought forward has received bipartisan support. In my third year on the Council, my fellow Council members unanimously elected me President of the Chesterton Town Council. To me, that speaks to something incredibly important: good government isn't about political parties or personal recognition. It's about building relationships, finding common ground, and getting things done for the people we represent.
But my work is far from finished. I want to continue investing in our infrastructure, supporting our first responders, strengthening our local businesses, protecting taxpayer dollars, and making Chesterton an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. I'm running for re-election because I believe in this community, I believe in the progress we've made, and I know there is still so much more we can accomplish together.

Grassroots support helped elect me the first time, and today I'm asking for your support once again. Every contribution, no matter the amount, is an investment in proven leadership and a record of real results.Your donation helps ensure that Chesterton continues to have a dedicated, accessible, and independent voice who isn't afraid to ask tough questions, stand up for residents, and do the work necessary to move our town forward.
I believe public service means showing up, listening, doing the work, and delivering results. I've spent nearly three years doing exactly that, and with your support, I intend to keep doing it.
Please consider making a contribution today. Together, we can keep building a stronger Chesterton!
