Contribution rules

  1. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  2. I am at least eighteen years old.
  3. I am not a federal contractor.
  4. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
  5. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle. Contributions will be allocated in the following order for persons (“P”) and multicandidate committees (“PAC”) respectively: the first $3,500 (P) and $5,000 (PAC) to Hickenlooper for Colorado for the general election; next $44,300 (P) and $15,000 (PAC) to the DSCC general account; next $10,000 (P) and $5,000 (PAC) to the Federal: Colorado Democratic Party; next $5,000 (P and PAC) to Giddy Up PAC; next $265,800 (P) and $90,000 (PAC) to DSCC’s headquarters fund or voter protection/legal defense fund up to the legal limits. Contributions or gifts to Colorado Senate Victory Fund are not tax deductible. Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by contacting hickenlooper@acuitypolitics.com. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
