The Columbus Safety Collective Campaign is working to place an alternative-police emergency response system on the May 2026 primary election ballot to meet the mental health and safety needs of Columbus residents. The Community Crisis Response Amendment will reduce the over-reliance on law enforcement for crisis response needs, save lives, and enhance trust in our city programs.
