Mission:

The Open Door Clubhouse assist its members in their recovery from mental illness and its effects, by focusing on the member's strengths, talents, and abilities for the enhancement of their rehabilitative goals, instilling a sense of purpose and confidence, and an opportunity to achieve their highest level of independence.

Our Purpose:

At the Open Door Clubhouse, our purpose is to support individuals with mental illness as they work on their recovery, transitioning from a role of dependent patient to that of an independent individual. Members live, learn, work, and create together in the community. Each member has the opportunity to rebuild a sense of self-worth through personal responsibility, employment, and building relationships with others.

What We Offer Members:

  • A work ordered day in which the talents and abilities of members are recognized and utilized within the Clubhouse.
  • Guaranteed paid employment for TE, SE, IE placements.
  • Resume writing and interviewing techniques.
  • Assistance accessing community-based educational resources.
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday activities.
  • Participation in consensus-based decision-making regarding Clubhouse operations.
