Re-Elect Veronica Paiz to Michigan State Representative
Thank you for your support and trust in me to "do the right thing" for residents of the new House District 10.
I have been endorsed by Speaker of the House Joe Tate (current District 10 Representative) and Senator Kevin Hertel!
Since taking the oath of office in 2023, I have joined my colleagues to pass practical legislation -- including tax breaks for Michiganders (repealed the "pension" tax, increased the EITC); for reproductive healthcare, safe gun legislation, and so much more. I serve on the House Committees for Agriculture (Majority Vice Chair), Local Gov't and Finance, Higher Education, and Natural Resources, Environment, Tourism, and Outdoor Recreation. I am a member of the following Caucuses: Detroit Caucus; Labor, Poverty & Homelessness; Legislative Latino; Legislative Disability; Autism; and Municipal Gov't.
The new State House District 10 encompasses Detroit's east side neighborhoods of Morningside, East English Village, Cornerstone Village, and Yorkshire Woods, all of Harper Woods, and all of the 5 Grosse Pointes.
