Amy Cesich for Kendall County Board District 1

What politicians decide locally will affect all of us on a daily basis for many years to come. That is why it is imperative to have County Board Members with common sense, inspiring vision and the capacity to deal with complex day to day issues. Over the past year, it has been my honor to serve the residents of Kendall County as a County Board Member for District 1.

The new members of the County Board have developed a positive working relationship, which has allowed for the development of the current Transparency Policy that was an important part of the 2012 campaign.

Our most time consuming activity has involved the management of the County finances and expenditures, including wages & benefits for all County employees. While I support the hard working men & women of Kendall County, I am adamant that County Board Members should not be offered Health Insurance at the cost to taxpayers. That is why I have refrained from accepting this benefit and will not accept this taxpayer funded benefit in the future.

Being a fiscally responsible Board Member, that encourages commercial development, while managing the unique natural resources of Kendall County, will be my driving vision in the years ahead.

Thank you for your support!

Don't forget, the General Election is November 4, 2014!
