Midterms Mission 2026: Mississippi Ballot Counting

Common Power is the nation's premier Organizing Force for recruiting, educating, and mobilizing next-generation leaders and everyday volunteers to win elections. We love the incredible election results!!! But we know the work is not over. As of Thursday morning, Mississippi Dem Senate candidate Scott Colom is ahead by 1,100 votes! Unbelievable and amazing, and we want to help him get across the finish line by “ballot counting”!

Your support will make a real difference.

With this split-second travel efforts, it costs on average $2,500 for a volunteer to travel for three days (airfare, lodging, food, car) for 3 days, during which they will knock hundreds of doors in crucial elections across America. To fund this split-second travel efforts and to sponsor some frontline educators, Action Academy graduates, and tapped-out super volunteers, we seek to raise $100,000 by Sunday evening at 11:59 pm.
