Donate to the Community Solidarity Fund

The Community Solidarity Fund provides direct relief to grassroots communities and organizations across the country to bolster their ability to respond to the immediate needs of the people most harmed by the COVID-19 pandemic in their communities, and ensure they can continue to fight the systemic injustices exposed by this crisis.

The groups support immigrants and undocumented workers, care workers, supermarket workers, and low-income Black and Brown families—communities who have always been the most vulnerable in our society and who have been left behind by our government’s inadequate response in this moment.

Contributions to the Community Solidarity Fund are distributed to the community organizations of the Center for Popular Democracy Network and other allies in order to:

  • Provide direct relief to their local community members who have been harmed by the COVID-19 pandemic and do not have the financial resilience to withstand its economic consequences
  • Address a dire and urgent organizational need created by the current crisis

So far we have raised over $285,000 from more than 45,000 supporters—and made $100,000 in emergency grants to our partners in the hardest hit communities around the country.
