For the last 6 months, undocumented organizers have been planning the first-ever Cosecha Congress, a national convening of our leaders to discuss important questions about the future of our movement.
Movimiento Cosecha launched in 2015 with a bold strategy to win permanent protection, dignity, and respect for all 11 million undocumented immigrants in this country. Over the years, we have built a powerful decentralized network of workers and families carrying forward the Cosecha vision and strategy. As we have grown and the political climate has evolved, we have also encountered new needs, challenges, and questions as a national movement.
In the National Congress, representatives of all our local teams we will discuss important questions about Cosecha's strategy, culture, and internal structure, with an eye on movement sustainability and the next phase of the fight for permanent protection, dignity, and respect.
The Cosecha National Congress will take place March 31-April 3 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Your contribution will support transportation, housing, food, and COVID safety materials for more than 50 immigrant leaders traveling to participate in this event. Please chip in now to invest in the future of Movimiento Cosecha!
