The CPC Center brings together community leaders, researchers, movement organizations, and the public to develop people-led, cutting-edge policy ideas to address the economic inequity and systemic racism that the pandemic has laid bare.
In 2021 we:
- ramped up our policy and legislative affairs capacity to evaluate COVID recovery economic policies and how they would affect people's lives
- published more than 30 accessible, timely, explainers and policy reports on reducing military spending, strengthening our health care system, opportunities for student debt cancellation, federal drug policy, gender and reproductive justice, economic and climate justice, and more
- launched Unrig the Rules to explore ideas to make congressional rules and processes more representative, transparent, and democratic
