Donate to Conrad for New York

Harlem is the cornerstone of New York City's history. We are the engine that drives the culture. But the people of Harlem? We’ve been left in the past. That's why Conrad is running for New York State Assembly in Assembly District 70 - Central Harlem!

For the past few decades, Harlem's elected leaders and political dynasties have fought harder to court corporate donors and preserve their own power than they have for working class people. Today, Harlemites cannot afford life's basic necessities, like rent, transportation, groceries, and childcare. It’s time for that to change! It's time for us to build a Harlem that is run by us and for us.

Conrad grew up in a single parent household and his family relied on government assistance to survive. He understands the pain that poor and working class families are feeling in this moment. That connection to the struggle fuels him. By day, Conrad is a public defender, policy advocate, and union organizer. Everyday, he stands shoulder to shoulder with others, fighting and organizing against systems that put profits before people. He understands that even though our struggles make us who we are, we shouldn’t have to struggle just to get by. When people have a solid foundation, we thrive. When people come together, we make history. When the people fight, we win! Let's win together.
