Harlem made our history. Our culture. From the Harlem Renaissance to Dipset, James Baldwin to Angela Bassett, and Malcolm X to Marcus Garvey, Harlem has continuously created the art, the music, the philosophy, and the activism that has driven our city forward. And, as part of this history, Harlem has served as a beacon of hope for young, working-class families of color; a place where we had the space to be unapologetically who we are, and build a movement with people who were like-minded about fighting for a more equitable world. But, despite the growth that this rich history created, the people of Harlem have been left in the past, struggling to afford their rent and make ends meet. Harlem’s political elite have abandoned the people.
Join us on December 13, 2025 at the iconic Harlem Tavern to start this campaign the right way with good food, even better friends, and a vision for a socialist Harlem that serves all peoples.
