Conrad Cable

Meet Conrad Cable: The Farmer to Fire Mike Johnson

Join us for a grassroots fundraiser in support of Conrad Cable, a family farmer from Farmerville running to defeat Mike Johnson in Louisiana’s 4th District.

📍 The Broadside | 600 N Broad St, New Orleans

📅 Saturday, August 30th | 4:30–6:30 PM

Hosted by Katie Darling, Laurie Constantinou, Margee Green, Britain Forsyth, Emily Faye Ratner, Michele Johnson, and Jackson Voss

Conrad grew up down a dirt road in Union Parish and still works the land today, farming vegetables with his brother for their local community. He and his wife, Emerald, know firsthand the challenges working families face— making ends meet, stretching a dollar, and raising a family in a system that too often favors corporate interests over everyday people.

Conrad isn’t running to get rich. He’s running for Congress because it’s time someone in Washington fought for the people who do the work, not the ones cashing the checks. This campaign isn’t fueled by corporate dollars — it’s powered by neighbors, friends, and hard-working Louisianans ready to demand respect and representation.
