April Cook is a fourth-generation North Carolinian, a proud Concord resident of over 30 years, and a proven healthcare advocate with more than two decades of experience serving uninsured and underinsured families across the state as the co-founder of the Lake Norman Community Health Clinic and now the CEO of the NC Association of Free and Charitable Clinics.
She's running for NC Senate District 34 because she believes no one should have to choose between paying their bills and getting the care they need, that public schools and teachers deserve real investment, and that government should be competent, accountable, and focused on the people of Cabarrus County.
This district is extremely winnable this cycle and is one of the top 50 targeted legislative seats in the country. April Cook is primed to flip SD-34 this year, but we need your support.
