Contribution rules
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
Contributions to Coons Pappas Victory Fund will be allocated as follows:
The first $14,000 of each contribution from a person and the first $20,000 of each contribution from a multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will be split evenly between Chris Coons for Delaware and Chris Pappas for Senate. The first $3,500/$5,000 of a person’s/PAC’s contribution to each committee will be designated to the primary election; the second $3,500/$5,000 will be designated to the general election unless the primary election has already occurred, in which case the contribution will be considered designated only to the general election. Any of these funds that would result in an excessive contribution for Chris Coons for Delaware will be allocated to the Democratic State Committee (Delaware); any of these funds that would result in an excessive contribution to Chris Pappas for Senate will be allocated to the New Hampshire Democratic Party. The next $20,000 of each contribution from a person and the next $10,000 from a PAC will be split evenly between the Democratic State Committee (Delaware) and New Hampshire Democratic Party.
Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by contacting coons@capcompliance.com. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
