Donate your stimulus check to Cosecha's Undocumented Worker Fund
During this global health crisis, undocumented and immigrant communities are particularly at risk. In times of need, undocumented families don't have access to basic necessities like health insurance, paid sick leave, and unemployment.
How it works:
Cosecha released a request form in early April for any undocumented individual to apply to receive a $300 stipend. We've already received almost 1000 requests and a national committee of immigrant community leaders from Cosecha are approving these requests now. So far, Cosecha has about half of the needed funds raised, but we still need about $150,000 us to meet the request of these initial 1000 families.
If everyone who has pledged so far, more than 1000 people, donates at least 10% of their check ($120) to the fund, we will be able to cover these 1000 families. If everyone donates half of their checks ($600), we will be able to cover 2,000 families. If everyone donates their full check ($1,200), we will be able to cover 4,000 families.
With your support, we can ensure undocumented families receive some relief.

Update August 14, 2020: We are currently pausing donations directly to the fund while we finish processing current applications. Donations made at this time will support the administration of the fund and Cosecha's general work organizing the undocumented community!
