Countdown to Victory
Contest Every Race awarded over $1 million to under-resourced county Democratic parties, funding local organizing, voter outreach, and candidate development in rural and non-urban areas. Grantee counties drove measurable results:
- 1.4 million doors knocked and 1.3 million phone calls made.
- 367,636 voters canvassed and 25,719 new voters registered.
- 64,393 volunteer shifts completed.
- 13 million hyper-local texts sent through 2,500+ campaigns.
We recruited 2,907 candidates across 17 states to run for local office in 2024— and 1,408 won. With a 48% win rate, this marks our most successful year yet.
