Immediate Relief:
Feeding America is the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief organization, providing meals to more than 40 million Americans each year.
Direct Relief is providing personal protective equipment and essential medical items to health workers responding to coronavirus.
The Emergent Fund is raising funds and moving them quickly to grassroots organizations, collectives and mutual aid projects across the country that are helping people directly.
National Domestic Workers Alliance Coronavirus Care Fund provides emergency assistance for home care workers, nannies, and house cleaners experiencing financial hardship due to the coronavirus.
One Fair Wage Emergency Fund raises emergency cash assistance funds to support tipped workers and other service workers.
Voter Registration:
New Georgia Project registers and engages Georgians civically, especially Georgians of color, and is registering 100,000 voters this year.
Blueprint North Carolina is a network of dozens of organizations registering voters and working together across issue and county lines to advance racial and economic justice. Together, they’re registering nearly 200,000 voters.
Leaders Igniting Transformation (LIT) builds leadership among young people of color in Milwaukee. LIT is registering more than 10,000 voters this year.
One Pennsylvania is a grassroots advocacy, voter registration, and get out the vote organization in Pennsylvania, made up of workers, students, parents, seniors, people with disabilities, and retirees who are working together to register more than 30,000 voters.
Arizona Center for Empowerment (ACE) builds power for Arizona’s working families, especially Latinx and immigrant families, to advance social, racial and economic justice. ACE and its affiliated 501(c)(4) partner, LUCHA, have a goal of registering more than 30,000 voters.
