DOWN TO THE WIRE!

Hi Folks,

It's Sue Crawford, campaigning for the House of Delegates in WV District 61. Early voting begins in about 8 weeks, and I still have many people to reach. The Republican supermajority has been in charge for 14 years, but the State gets worse and worse! Broken promises have left broken people who are barely able to eat or get medication. I want, I need the State to take action, not give empty promises. Schools are underfunded, and $200 clothing vouchers are suspect, but the Governor found a $360 million surplus last month!! So why are healthcare facilities closed? Food assistance is phasing out, but hamburger is $10 per pound. Feeding or clothing a family is nearly impossible. Flooding hit us again a few weeks ago, but the water from some faucets is darker than the floodwater. We really are talking about a crisis so bad it doesn't even make headlines anymore. For so many, it really is about life and death: food or medicine, working two or three jobs to pay rent and utilities. All people deserve not just to survive but to thrive!

If you can spare $5 to help my campaign reach more people, it will make a difference. $10 will help even more, and $20 will help me get a few people to the polls and some bottles of water. I don't care what party you are affiliated with. I am talking about neighbors, the clerk at Family Dollar, the waitress with three kids at Biscuit World, the miner whose back went out 3 months ago and has a wife and 4 kids in school, the kid that cuts my grass so he can put fuel in his truck and drive to college classes.

I don't want to leave this beautiful state without trying one last time to get it back to Almost Heaven.
