Bay Area Chinese Community Starts COVID-19 Relief Effort
The United States nationally is in the initiation phase of the pandemic. As of March 31, the number of confirmed cases in the United States is 46.4 thousand. A shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) is endangering health workers; doctors are forced to reuse respiratory masks or use less effective ones in an effort to protect themselves and their patients.
COVID-19 Relief Bay Area (CRBA), as members of the Chinese-American community, are working together to provide emergency medical supplies to local hospitals in need which treat Coronavirus patients.
