The Everytown Community Safety Fund supports 501(c)3 organizations implementing community-based violence intervention (CVI) programs operating in cities nationwide as a core component of a comprehensive approach to reducing gun violence in America.

Operation Good:

A community-based organization whose goals are to stop recidivism, clean up the environment in which the impoverished life, reduce violent incidents, introduce alternative solutions to gun violence and robbery, mentor the high-risk population, offer economic solutions to the at-risk, ensure truancy, offer job development, provide for the community in the time of crisis, do well-being checks for our elderly and sick, feed the homeless, clothe the homeless, offer educational support and events, mentor the youth, get eligible citizens registered to vote, ensure the youth eat over the summer months, etc


Inner City Innovators:

Inner City Innovators operates several programs aimed at gun violence prevention and intervention including coordinating anti-violence community walks, youth mentorship, anti-gun violence youth workshops, youth-violence response teams, and programs for incarcerated youth to help them prepare for release and re-entry into their communities.


Paterson Healing Collective

(Reimagining Justice): The Paterson Healing Collectiveis the first Hospital-based Violence Intervention Program in Passaic County. The program was created in partnership with St. Joseph’s Hospital to provide support and intervention for survivors of violence. The services provided by PHC include case management, high-risk intervention, HVIP program, community walks, and community support meetings or roundtables.


South Pittsburgh Coalition for Peace

(The Pittsburgh Contingency): The South Pittsburgh Coalition for Peace is a conglomerate of volunteers and agencies that are committed to the prevention of violence through many programs, including community anti-violence workshops and violence intervention work.


Buffalo Peacemakers

(Back to Basics Ministries): The objective of the Buffalo Peacemakers Violence and Gang Intervention Program is to provide proactive intervention into the cycle of violence in the lives of gang-involved or at-risk youth. The staff of the program are drawn from six existing peace-making groups that have evolved naturally in response to community needs. The program leader, Pastor James Giles, has worked in the violence prevention space for several decades.
