My name is Darcy Berwick and I am a mom of two Saline alum. For the last 16 years I have worked in the schools with students, teachers, staff, and admin: on our PTA/PTO boards at every level, as a regular volunteer inside & outside of the classrooms, and now as a substitute teacher and para pro.
I believe that our students’ successes come from prioritizing what inspires & empowers them to learn. This starts when we create a collaborative community which supports and respects our teachers as the professionals they are, when we meet the students at their levels, and when we partner with our families and the greater community.
