Thank you for supporting the exploration of creating a grocery store which would be owned, operated, and governed by low-wealth residents! This cooperative business would not only be a place to buy healthy food sourced from Black and Brown farmers, but would also be a catalyst for community empowerment, wealth-building, and job creation.
We envision the Food Co-op as a community resource with spaces for gathering and learning, and perhaps even a cafe, a commercial kitchen, childcare, and a garden. Help us build a place that fosters connection to each other, our land, our food, and our community!
