*Central Valley Matters 2026*

How can I make a difference?

Central Valley Matters supports grassroots organizations bringing year-round commitment, high energy and hands-on experience, using local civic engagement strategies in the carefully chosen, disenfranchised parts of rural towns in CA's CD 22. As a statewide alliance of California organizations, Central Valley Matters works to engage the community by raising funds for these trusted messengers. 2026 is a key year for this high profile Congressional district.

THANK YOU!!

CVM's 2026 campaign will support three partisan 501 c4 community groups getting the word out about the upcoming elections.

Community Water Center Action Fund works on voter education and turn-out in local Tulare County elections by engaging in door-to-door, phone conversations and bill board campaigns with issue-based organizing often focused on groundwater quality and quantity. 501(c)(4) non tax-deductible group.

Dolores Huerta Action Fund is a community benefit organization working at the grassroots level to engage and develop natural leaders and a strong base of volunteers in Kern County in and around Bakersfield, the largest part of CA's CD 22. 501(c)(4) non tax-deductible group.

Poder Latinx (CA) works to: close the substantial gap of voter engagement and voter turnout; build a continuum cycle of civic engagement with a permanent infrastructure; increase and sustain civic consciousness; combat misinformation and intimidation with improved methods of communication; have a higher and sustained impact on the community; build new leaders and win policy changes. This year Poder Latinx will focus on voter registration in CD22. 501(c)(4) non tax-deductible group

When and if you work out the PAC logistics we will be happy to fund that campaign going forward.

The default will split your donation evenly among our three partisan groups. Or, you may also customize your donation.

CVM's 501c3 groups (non partisan) can be supported by check/DAF or IRA or Minimum Required Distributions, by clicking here.

Delano Guardians is a volunteer organization working since 2013 in northern Kern County. They work to register, educate and empower their voters. Their fiscal sponsor is Center on Race, Poverty, & the Environment, a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible group.

Loud for Tomorrow is a youth-led organization building youth power in Kern County to transform local schools and communities through civic engagement, advocacy, and healing justice. Focusing on youth 16-25, Loud organizes young people for a brighter tomorrow! 501(c)(3)  tax-deductible group.

Valley Voices is building civic power in Kings County and Southwest Fresno County. Through bilingual (Spanish-English) voter education, citizenship support, food distributions, leadership development, and community advocacy, we ensure immigrant and working-class families have the tools, information, and representation they deserve.

501(c)(3) tax-deductible.

CVM is all volunteer and every donation goes directly to local groups working in the new Fresno, Kings, Kern, and Tulare counties of California's US Congressional District 22.
