Fund voter turnout, flip CA's CD-22 while savoring Snickers cupcakes! Your donation supports three in-district grassroots groups focused on educating, activating and turning out voters from Fresno to Bakersfield in one of the nation's most flippable districts. Randy Villegas, the dynamic Democratic nominee is well-positioned to defeat the Republican incumbent. Your donation is split among United for Water Justice, Huerta Democracy PAC, Votar es Poder PAC. These organizations have been carefully vetted by Central Valley Matters, our partner for this appeal. All three have been very successful in registering Democrats and getting out the vote through old-fashioned door knocking and peer-to-peer contact.

CA-22 is one of the most flippable congressional districts in the country, with the dynamo Democrat Randy Villegas running an extremely competitive campaign. Let's get more Democrats registered in this hard to reach area and usher Randy into office.

Donate $35+ and a Bake Back Better volunteer will deliver four home-baked rich snickers cupcakes straight to your door. These decadent, candy-bar inspired creations, feature a peanut caramel filling, fluffy peanut butter frosting, and lots of chocolate and candy bars. We offer regular or gluten-free*.

We’re asking for $35 minimum and welcome large donations. If you make donation of $100+ we will add some homemade snickers fudge (Santa Clara, San Mateo, Alamdea and Contra Costa counties only) - too good to pass up.

Delivery Areas:

• San Francisco Bay Area: Santa Clara, San Mateo (everywhere but coastal cities), Alameda, San Francisco , Marin (everywhere but coastal cities) and Sonoma Counties. You may also pick up from headquarters in Los Altos.
• San Diego: Between La Jolla, La Mesa and Chula Vista

Instructions:

1. Make a donation by Tuesday, September 29. (suggested minimum: $35). Larger donations welcome! Up to $100 and we'll add some homemade snickers fudge (San Mateo & Santa Clara counties).
2. Complete the treat delivery form.
3. Four cupcakes will be delivered by a Bake Back Better volunteer by Tuesday October 6.
4. Watching your waistline or not local? Deliver to a friend and make their day!
5. Unclaimed cupcakes and plenty of extras will be delivered to Los Altos and Morgan Hill police and fire depts.

*Gluten-free only available for pick-up in Los Altos or Menlo Park.

More about the three groups we are funding:

United for Water Justice, sponsored by Community Water Center Action Fund (Federal) works on voter education and turn-out in Tulare and Kern County elections by engaging in door-to-door and phone conversations as well as billboard campaigns. It connects with CD 22, low-income rural communities of color, championing the human right to water through local organizing, education, and legal advocacy.

Huerta Democracy PAC is a community benefit organization working to elect progressive candidates at the grassroots level to engage and develop natural leaders and a strong base of volunteers to work for voter turnout in and around Bakersfield, the largest part of CA's CD 22. They support and build people power, creating squads to give agency and a voice to this underserved area.

Votar es Poder PAC works in three of CD 22's counties (Kings, Tulare and Fresno) to: close the substantial gap of voter engagement and voter turnout; build a continuum cycle of civic engagement; increase and sustain civic consciousness; combat misinformation and intimidation with improved methods of communication and build new leaders and win policy changes.
